Best race of the season so far. Completely random. Safety cars, red flag. Ricciardo on course for a very nice win.

Bottas was a lap down early, and now on track for a podium. Stroll likely to get a podium finish! Massa, Ocon and Perez could all have had a podium., with Ocon taking out his teammate. Also points for McLaren.

Telemetry data will prove it one way or another, but Vettel and Hamilton should both have been DQ'd after their safety car drama. Looked like a brake test, also definitely a deliberate ramming.

Aaargh Bottas edges into second.

Cracking race. Felt sorry for Stroll at the end but he didn't really seem to care.

Good to see that McClaren told Lewis to GFH when he asked that Bottas slow down to back Seb into him.

Sounds like Ricciardo did a 'Bradbury'.

The Youtube clip does seem to indicate Hamilton brake-tested Vettel. But Vettel's sideswipe was as petulant as a Sebastian Vettel petulant dummy spit gets. They are both qunts.

Are these dick-waving displays anyhow abnormal in F1-land these days? So far Dan seems to have avoided the need for a 44-gallon crash helmet, but give it time....

Sadly the fastest drivers often seem also to be the biggest dicks, so they get double the publicity.

Of recent F1 champions, Kimi Raikonnen and Nico Rosberg seem to have kept their egos in check to a degree.

Massive success, wealth, super-models on tap, and youth seem to be a potent recipe ...

Lewis Hamilton is set to receive a five-place gearbox penalty in Austria after Mercedes has to replace the unit with which he finished the Azerbaijan GP.

As he has not completed six races with it, he will inevitably be penalised.

The FIA also revealed that the team has known about the issue since Tuesday morning.

The team found the gearbox had been damaged after Baku and it has decided to replace it as a precaution.

A note from the FIA's Jo Bauer said: "The above driver did finish the last race in Baku and this gearbox change was before the six consecutive Events expired.

I like Bottas. I don't like Hamilton. I don't like Vettel. Hopefully Bottas wins the title.

Exciting finish for both positions.

Sadly it looks as though the champion will be Qunt 1 or Qunt 2. Hard to see Bottas or Ricciardo gaining enough points to get past either of them.

Well, Ricciardo certainly doesn't have the equipment to consistently reel them in, unless the Mercedes and Ferraris keep tangling with each other.

Bottas is close enough for Hamilton not to automatically get any favours now. A couple of DNFs for Lewis could make him de facto team leader for the second half of the season...

Not turning up to an event for fans in your home country when pretty much everyone else did. Hamilton really is a specimen.

Big time team orders from both top teams, but fair play to Lewis Hamilton for giving up his third spot as he'd said he would.

Unfortunate for Ricciardo. Completely Verstappen's fault. Max is a dangerous driver, although that makes him an entertaining one.
