Re: Big Bash Borathon 2016/17
Rose shows the top order how to do it. Still woefully short of a defendable total. I reckon perth will only need 15 overs to win.
Re: Big Bash Borathon 2016/17
Aye. 134 was poor but it's runs on the board.

SO the Scorchers get both Bog and Vague into form as they smash the Canes to go top of the table. Look out everyone else.

Re: Big Bash Borathon 2016/17
Gave the 'Canes too much credit. I said they would lose in 15 overs. They managed to do it in 13.5. Stats shown in the local rag today showed that on a capacity % basis, Blundstone has the best crowds in the country at 88% of capacity. Unless there is a drastic change in policy & management, these figures will decline rapidly. Hurricanes overseas players have let them down hugely in the last couple of years. Hurricanes need a new plan for next season or else the fans will discard them in droves.

Aye, Sanga was a massive disappointment.
Meanwhile, KP stands in the way of the Pink Spivs making the semis.

Spivs did a great job to peg the Stars to 156. Now, will they choke?
A win lifts Sixers to 3rd and a semi v Heat at Gabba and eliminates Renegades, with Stars to play Scorchers in Perth. A win in 12 overs eliminates the Stars and elevates Renegades to 4th.

Batting's been the problem all year.
BTW - has Haddin been taking stumping lessons from Wade?

Dear God Reeks is an appalling cricketer. Young Bowes looks like a pimply nerd but looks a real prospect as a chinaman.

After a pretty bog ordinary effort from the top order, Abbott and Botha get the Spivs home for a semi spot v Heat in Brisvegas. Stars retain their place in the semis but have to go to Perth.

Is there a bigger fraud in the sport than Nic Maddinson?

He is in elite territory with a couple of other noteworthy Spivs.

Off to the Scorchers this afternoon
Annaleigh will be welcoming one of the teams onto the field and will get an autographed hat from one of the players
She will also get a free shirt if she welcomes the Stars

Good for you and yours. Polite doesn't apply to Mexican sports teams.

Hope the princess has a great time irrespective of whether it is the Belf who signs her hat. She should not listen to unfair qbillies like qm3, the Mexican players are tops.
