Aye. On that form the Nags might be nervous.

Looks like Shane Flanagan has talked Ben Hunt into staying at the Dragons for the final 2 years of his current contract.

R00ters made far too many errors to win but almost did. Leading by a point thanks to a Sam Walker Field Goal, they just had 2 mins to survive, with "The Grub" Munster twice stuffing FG chances, when Mr Dogshit came good, dropping a pin-point bomb in the right corner for the opposing wingers to contest.
Find of the season, Will Warbrick, won the AFL marking contest and slammed the winning try down for the Storm.
Oh, and Ashley Kline missed a stone-cold knock-on by Harry Grant at 6-0. Shortly after, Melbourne scored to go 10-0 up.
It's hard to see Melbourne troubling the Panthers on the Storm's form of the past 2 weeks, but in a knockout match anything's possible.
This was shown on the National news tonight, as was a separate and quite horrific straight-arm head-high contact that Kline also missed - he should probably look for a new job.

Re: Rugby League 2023
Very dominant Panthers played almost the perfect game of Rugby League tonight v Storm.
Forwards were brutal, defence was almost perfect, and the attack was unstoppable. They were running at 100% completions until very late in the game.
Penrith beat their previous highest margin v Melbourne.
Onto GF no. 4 in a row.

Those pages of SBBOT would be firmly stuck together, I imagine.

Ugh, wouldn't want to be players in the State Championship (NSW State Cup champs Souths v Qld State Cup Champs Brisbane Tigers) which kicks off at 1.20 pm, or the players in the NRLW (Knights v Titans) on Sunday. Peak temperature of 36C forecast.

Re: Rugby League 2023
Fantastic record-breaking comeback by Penrith.
The Nags were killing them at 24-8 with 20 mins to go, then Nathan Cleary said "gimme the ball' and lifted them to the win.

A match in 3 phases. of which Penrith one two and lost one convincingly. Cleary’s 40-20 early in the tackle count was the strategic moment that turned the game.

Re: Rugby League 2023
While it was a high-skill moment from Cleary, I think he had already turned the game minutes before with his line break and inside pass to Moses Leota that got Penrith back to 24-14.
The 40-20 cemented Penrith's resurgence and they had all the momentum for the remainder of the game, culminating in Cleary's brilliant solo effort under the posts (he beat 4 Nag defenders) with 4 minutes on the clock. I know our house was cheering loudly.
