Re: Indian Board President's XI v Aus
The pitch would appear to be deteriorating already.

we will see how he does on flat pitches with this kind of pace(130s).
Why on earth should he waste his energy bowling the fastest deliveries in a warm up? Still he has barely bowled below 137 apart from his slower deliveries and his fastest was over 146 today.
He should treat this like a test match and figure out things that he needs to do while bowling at top speed plus that would kind of help him in getting the tailenders out( i know you think pace isn't much of a factor in getting people out but there we will have to agree to disagree)

aussies getting whooped, well over 4 an over. good and bad for india. good for destroying a bit of morale, but bad as this might make them work harder on their game and prepare better for the tests

Just as Rohit and Kohli's hundreds might have made the likes of Ganguly and Dravid work a bit harder and prepare better for the tests.

What happened to the live telecast? Will this rubbish transmission continue during tests? It is really very frustrating.

The longer the bowlers stay on field, the better. It is a long series.
Meanwhile Clark is generating good bounce with the new ball and claims Ojha too.
Why did Ponting delay taking the new ball?

Haha. Pathan gets Hayden but not given. tbf to the umpire, bat pad was close, and bat hit the pad to create a doubt in umpire's mind.

Ball which is older than 90 overs hardly gives any swing since it becomes too soft by then.

That was his plan though.
Nevertheless I'll cede to your local knowledge.
