Ponting getting into some form.
BP XI needs to get another wkt now to put Aussies under some pressure in the final session.

don't get too carrried away - Ponting's innings of 41 pretty much double the amount of FC runs he has scored in India in the last decade.

You beat me to it. I don't expect much from Ponting this series. And that ain't even a reverse whoof.

Is it just my imagination or do the stumps seem to cartwheel out of the ground (when batsmen are clean bowled) easier in India? Even the spinners can knock the middle stump out of the ground, FFS!

A lot of grounds these days water around the stumps to produce that effect.

Nath it's been a subi thing for about forty years. They put water in the stumpholes so they cartwheel. Adds to spectator enjoyment, especially important when you don't have fast bowlers capable of doing it themselves.

Chawla is still quite inconsistent in bowling. I don't like it when he drops the ball short just give a free boundary to the batsmen.

Maybe Clarke should have been a real Captain and catered to Symonds ego. All super players have insecurities and Symonds petulance should have been taken into account. Read Roy's book and you will get my drift.
The gone fishin' episode split the team in half. Sorry Michael you cost us bigtime.

Cricinfo will want to provide better service during the Tests than they are during this match. Scores keep going backwards and then updating properly.

17 overs left for the day.
BP XI should be looking for atleast 1 more wicket.

Is that "literally literally" or "metaphorically literally"? If it is the former, Chawla must be a bit whiffy by now.Chandan wrote:Wow!! The same Chawla who was litrally murdered by by Pakistanis and Lankans bowls Ponting!
