Have you been to it? It's feckin insane & if you couldn't pick up there then you are officially dead.
Well, the big day is tomorrow. Anyone going to the Ipswich Cup?
I can never find winners on that rubbish track but I'm fascinated by Mick's thoughts on the socialising & am thinking of putting it to the test by attending.
I expect I will just find out that I'm officially dead.

Re: The Horse Racing Thread
Earlier in the day there was also an outstanding win in the Gp2 Hardwicke Stakes by Harbinger who has been very impressive in all three runs this year.
..... in Australia, Our Lukas scored a nose win in the Ipswich Cup from Frozone & Warrior Within.
.... and Adnocon won the Eye Liner Stakes
Really the only bad note on the day was the late scratching of Jerezana in the Gai Waterhouse Classic when she reared up in the barriers. She looked the best bet of the day & I had 2 units on the Quaddy which was going to pay $432.

Re: The Horse Racing Thread
Does anyone know of any websites that give complete extended form for French Races? I wanted to have a good look at at Grand Prix de Saint Cloud, have checked out both the "Sporting Post" & "At The Races" sites & both have left out some of their recent starts.
They should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

The Irish Derby was won by Cape Blanco who regained the form he showed in the Dante Stakes.
Unfortunately UniTAB didn't bet on the race cos it was run after 2am. I will have to put some money in my Centrebet account. At the moment there is 90 cents in there.
The Group 1 Grand Prix de Saint Cloud was won by the mare Plumania in a close finish. I still haven't found a site with detailed French Form.

Re: The Horse Racing Thread
Hard to get them on this side of the channel WW ... try the Paris-Mutuel or else pick a French trainer like Criquite (?) Head's website - and maybe that could lead you to form for French races. We have them on TV here (but only in the bookies), but no one really gives a stuff frankly as their form figures are bloody hard to read anyway!
Does anyone know of any websites that give complete extended form for French Races?
Good luck!

Thanks for the Words of Wisdom, Merls. I googled Andre Fabre & after reaching Frogs Racing, finally ended up at the France Galop site which seems to give me the information I require.
