Re: The Golf Thread (II)
Well, when you see him, there'll be no accusations of him being a barn rat.
Was Asian Tour Order of Merit and Malaysian open winner 2 years ago. NBC absolutely love him. And he's called the Thai John Daly...

Looked pretty decent till fading in the end. Leishman and Senden made up though. Bastards, those two proper stuffed my fantasy team.
Damning stat about Gallacher
Stephen Gallacher has now played in 12 match play matches as a professional. He has won just one

Interesting...Oz players grow up playing matchplay in in inter club amateur comps. Some of our blokes have really excelled on turning pro - Ogilvie is a good example

Generally the case everywhere, isn't it? South Africans and Spanish have produced some of the best matchplayers too.

Scott gawn, McDowell gawn, Poulter out, Dubuisson out. Rose maybe next.
Good week for the Asian Tour players, Jaidee beating Furyk comfortably, which nobody could see anything of.

Can't be right, just heard Oosthuizen described as David versus Watson the Goliath. WTF?
Unfortunately, Lahiri out. Good showing. Ilonen has been bloody good all tournament. 8&6 win today!

Westwood beats Spieth! Very good round. Bloody mental par on 16.
Grace takes the playoff. Whoever thought Faldo would make a good commentator.

To give the devil its due, Spieth was gracious in defeat today. Going by both players' accounts, they had a good time on course.
And the McIlroy Horschel rivalry build up turned out to be a load of fluff.

Shit. Willett's dodgy back is flaring up. Would have liked him to win, in the fantasy team too, but would rather he lose atm.

Till I learned that there was a 3rd place playoff.
Shock. Horror. McIlroy won. And he didn't even play very well all week.

I know Garcia's a twit at the best of times, but the heckling directed at him yesterday was pathetic enough to be reserved to the Ryder Cup.

Crikey, the Twitterverse beat up Fowler's victory kiss on his girlfriend. Though reasonably passionate, it didn't look anything that special (although I'd think differently if doing the kissing of his babe girl).
