Looks like Hastings is rooted for the season. Needs a shoulder reconstruction.

I think it is actually Blundstone Arena
Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12
In good news for Tasmania, Hussey is apparently unlikely to play for WA in this first FC match (not injured, but recovering).
Coulter-Nile seems a good prospect.

It's a bit of a worry for the Shield prospects of the Devils though, if they are being sponsored by Blunnies. When the trend is to near-slippers.

Looks like Punter & Doherty will be available for the first Shield game. Hopefully the new relaxed Ponting will score a few more runs than he has done in the past for Tassie.
Re: Australian Domestic Cricket 2011/12
Aye, BD. It would augur well for some runs from Punter in the Tests. I thought he looked good in SL, only to get out when he was set.

Season starts in just 4 hours ...
Just a Viles v Billies ODI, but it's a signal that the Shield competition starts this week.
Huzzah!

Strewth an' fer cryinoutloud mate - every proper fair dinkum Aussie calls em BLUNNIES.
Only you middle-claaass "wannabe cobber ockers" call them ""Blundies"" (*). For a start, it's too clumsy to say it with the D in.
(* Or do you prefer "Blaaandeeeez"?)
A comparative google hit count will tell ya what ya already know is right and proper: it's BLUNNIES.

Okay, Tigers.

And it's VEGGIES, too.
Not "veggeties".
Ask any decent honest Aussie. He'll tell you no different. Or even she.

Well, after today, I guess all you non-Queenslanders must realise that the Bulls are certainties to win the 2011/12 Sheffield Shield.
We have Peter Forrest.
We are unbeatable.
He does look to have a touch of class, doesn't he?
