As someone from ESPN recently said, NFL is the biggest sport in America. College Football is the second biggest.

Re: NFL 2011/12 thread
As I've said before, I can understand people in states/cities without an NFL team going to support their local college as there isn't a "second tier" professional league or anything. Why it gets any international interest is beyond me though, except for maybe who the names to watch out for in next year's draft are.
So, Packers for 16-0 or Colts for 0-16? Or perhaps both?

Packers will lose a game I reckon.
Colts won't win one.

College Football looks like it will get the all SEC match up for the national title, with most pundits pointing to LSU vs Alabama for the national championship game.

Nearly got it right today. Except Rogers has gone 68 yards in 5 plays in the last minute for GB to get the winning FG.

As they're first and second that's pretty much a given. Interesting that 'Bama didn't get all the second place votes.

Yes, amazing how a team that loses to a unranked opponent can get second place votes can get votes over a side that went down in OT to the number 1 ranked side.
At least commonsense prevailed in the end.

Re: NFL 2011/12 thread
FMD, Tebow and the Broncos do it again with a 59 yard field goal with 3 seconds left to tie it up and then a 51 yard FG to win.
Classic at the moment between Giants and Cowboys.

Giants take it up to GB and dallas lose to Arizona. Then this. And the AFC seems to be coming good at the business end.

Well it's either that or boxing. My son's goldfish is tougher than NFL punters. Could probably kick it further too.

Does Fev know that NFL punting has nothing to do with placing bets on the game?

Not sure about that. The last time I threw a goldfish the hangtime was pretty good.
