Re: NFL 2011/12 thread
I'm a fraction further north than Green Bay. Can't believe they have an outdoor winter sport team as far north as that. Schnneeee.

The Pack defence has been a little shakey though. Of course, all hidden by Roger's brilliance (his worst QB rating game has been 116 I think) so it could take something like Rogers having a good but not great game and the defence might lose it.

And FMD, Tebow wins again.
Last week he won despite only completing 2 passes in the match.

I expect defenses will work out a system with very little passing in it before long, but for now I guess the Tebow offense has the surprise factor. Interesting to see something different finding a bit of success for now anyway, great as it is to watch the superstar passing QBs.

Some upsets in the college football today. Looks like LSU and daylight at the moment.

So, 2nd, 4th, 5th and 7th ranked teams lose to mostly much weaker opposition on paper.
Good chance that Alabama might go back to 2.

In the Big Show, is is a crapathon at the moment between the Eagles and Giants.
Halfway through the second quarter, Manning has a QB rating of zero and Young has one of 13.1.

Hehehe! No way the BCS computer can fark me this year.
Tebow might just be finding his feet at last. I'd use a rushing offence if i was that small too.

And No.2 it is for the Crimson Tide
SEC Now at 1,2,3 in the BCS , now for a LSU vs Alabama re-match for the national title, and revenge

Re: NFL 2011/12 thread
The computer hates NCG games where 1 and 2 have previously played each other. If Arkansas were to beat LSU it would probably leapfrog Alabama but not do enough to secure the CCG, which could see LSU retain No1 and play Arkansas in the NCG.
Fanciful I know but I hate Alabama and the computer (and the '09 Alabama defence) owe me.

If LSU lose to Arkansas, Alabama win over Auburn I can't see the Hogs leap frogging Alabama even with the computer.

Re: NFL 2011/12 thread
Arkansas' schedule was a bit sexier than Alabama's. This thing happened a few years ago in the Big 12. Texas, Texas Tech and Oklahoma( I think) were all in the top 4 or 5 and had all beaten each other. However this time there's no other undefeated team in another conference to skew things.
Not sure what the SEC rules are on decidng ties in such a situation.

If memory serves me correctly it goes on head to head results if there is a tie within the SEC

That's what I mean. The top three in that division will have all defeated each other. It's probably unlikely like I said and from a personal

Tim Tebow does it again in overtime.
Meanwhile, Percy Havin for the Vikings has a 104 yard kick return - but still doesn't score.

How are you following these college games?
I'm getting nothing! Just Steelers at the Chiefs on a static-y channel. 3 all, not that I can see it.
My bad, that was from Friday.

I just haven't found a channel with a college game for a while now. All the WYZK and W whatevers are really bad quality.
I'll wait for the New Year bowls. Games galore.

ESPN has all the BCS bowl games as well as most of the reg season games. I think the major networks only score some of the "iconic" games they snaffled years ago.

LSU only ran away with it in the last quarter, but are still a clear #1
Alabama have secured #2 with a demolition job on Auburn in the Iron Bowl.
