Decent bowling by NZ, but South Africa shouldn't be 7 down. Now New Zealand will want to roll over for a 100.

SA had nine new players in from their last ODI. Maybe they should have left the seasoned players in. Smile

Maybe you should learn to count.

Nothing to do with fingers, I had erroneously thought that Steyn had rested from the last match.

Have noticed that the running between wickets of the SA players, especially Amla has become quite helter skelter of late.

Actually I endeavoured to make the point that the majority of SA's team was just becoming acclimatised to the conditions so it was hardly surprising to see them skittled in swing-friendly conditions. So I farked up by saying nine instead of eight but you make it sound like it's a catastrophic error.

The point still stands.

Anyway "I think that should have left the seasoned players in from the last ODI" Smile is pretty mild.

Think your snideometer needs recalibrating.

Or maybe your grumpometer!

Well as Smith, Kallis and Morkel had all played in the ODI's the majority of the team was actually acclimatised, so you have now compounded your fark up.

Actually. not in the slightest bit sore Dan. These things happen in tests, and I never judge a wicket until both teams bat.

Sooky played in one ODI in which he was dismissed cheaply, Kallis has been injured, missed some of the games.

Also depends how you define acclimation. Those who haven't played a match landed five or so days before they played but there's a difference between adjusting to new sleep patterns and the different weather and actually playing cricket. Your argument is tenuous.

Nah, it's part of the daily routine.

Get up

Have a dump

Have a bath

Shave

Get dressed

Switch on Computer

Tell Red she's talking absolute bollocks.

The good part is that you don't actually to have to read her posts.

Snoozies clean up the Yarpie tail relatively quickly, to restrict them to 238 (which NZ'd be chuffed with). Nicol already gone to the Philanderer in reply. 1-9.

Kiwis on top after consolidating through to lunch. (1/40)
The way the SA tail played showed there were no demons in the pitch and play has followed accordingly. Nicol perhaps out of his depth as a test opener.
