I hope it wasn't me accusing Dan of whistling Pump up the Jam whilst undertaking self pleasurisation

I thought accusing someone of liking Technotronic was a step too far at the time.

I humbly apologise

And for the record: no macaque has received a reacharound from me.

However, I refuse to comment on bonobo chimps at this juncture of time.

You think you are one of the "couple of English posters"??

Why would that be? I can think of some others that Frommie may be rubbing his chin about. Cool

I'm guessing it was Nath and simkat down under, and Lever and eowyn up over.

They are all so provocatively ... what words can describe it? ..... pattable, likeable, huggable, tykable.

"tykable"? Sounds like an adjective that would be associated with the Catholic Church - in more ways than one.

amusing thread...i think we mostly get on pretty well - most of the bickering is amiable (agree with henry)

some is tiresome and humorless - red v taips prolly falls into that category tho I don;t read much of it

even on days when there is no cricket there are usually some gems to have a chuckle over...even if a few are inadvertant such as Skully's attempts at political analysis

I haven't had ANY kind of rating for a while- Positive or negative. Coincides with Batty's re-emergence. I have my suspicions........

I mean, who rates people's posts? I looked at my profile the other day and I think I've given one, maybe two ratings in five years of this place. And I was probably drunk when I did it.

Ratings as in pos or neg votes?

It started out as a shitfest vehicle started by Dello, then became a lovefest between Dan, Dello and vilks, with copious quantities of "skag" being awarded to the other. Otherwise, a totally useless function.

Sorry, edited as you were responding. See above.

Poor old Vikas became the target of a zillion negative votes when the function first appeared. That Dello - he's a wag. Cool

Rhymes with "likeable".

Tyke = Lancashire slang for "Yorkie".

It was also meant to sound mildly suggestive, rather than abusive as you interpreted it. Shocked

WTF would I bother to rate you for a post that has nothing to do with me? In case you don't know - I cant 'rep' anyone. Only people with minimum of 0 reps can do that. My shitfesting mates of the long gone past took care to let me see posts normally without the rep functions [without the damned rep click buttons of plus + & -] and I am fine with it.
