Pakistan didn't find it that hard.furriner wrote:I hope the infielders are talking to KP about how the England management has done him wrong...only way to get the bastard out.

What's that got to do with anything?

Exactly my first thought.

Slag off England and India with randomness? Or is it the SOuth African?Brass Monkey wrote:furriner wrote:Red wrote:Pakistan didn't find it that hard.furriner wrote:I hope the infielders are talking to KP about how the England management has done him wrong...only way to get the bastard out.

And in equally random logic, it's not like Australia have struggled getting him out.

You were talking as if KP is immovable. You did him cheaply last test and Pakistan did it all series. It can't be that complicated.

Seen both innings (well today's part) and the difference between Ahmedabad and Mumbai can't be more stark, and it's not down to the bowling only

Nor have England.

So I fail to see why sledging is the ticket.

So much for revenge at home. A perfect test that will test all...the faded old guard trying to rewind time in vanity and the young turks who are establishing themselves. This test will decide how far we have come since leaving Dravid/Laxman behind...

He's a great batsman in his prime, not Suresh Bloody Raina.
There will be times when he will be near impossible to get out, regardless of what happened in the past, regardless of who's bowling. This seems one of them, hence my original comment.

When we both have spare time, we'll go through joviality together.

Jeez, that was what is known among us showbiz professionals as a 'flip comment'.
And now he's gawwwwwwn.
Well played, KP, a fantastic innings, perhaps a great innings?

Guess that is the same for most batsmen in the zone. Everyone is just one ball away from extinction though.

He's already buggered us I fear. I hope it's not a decisive innings.

It wasn't a great innings because they didn't get him out before he accumulated 180-odd.

TBH, KP's innings is making a mockery of the pitch. All the other batsmen, apart from Cook, have looked troubled. A pretty much chanceless 186 on this pitch, striking at 80 is quite something.

Also I just noticed he got out to an SLA, so that couldn't possibly have been a great innings. Eh? Eh?

Whoa whoa whoa... it's not her fault that India isn't Pakistan.
Re: India v England, 2nd Test, Mumbai, 23-27 November, 2012
Ironic that SA's most aggressive batsman plays for England so we have to put up with their funereal pace here.
