Moos win by a point.

Bookies do well out of that?

Kudos to Benny for bagging his team's defensive shithouseness and not what Barrett and Flanagan did - blaming the refs.

Sharks have no-one to blame but themselves for poor handling and poor decisions. Jimmy Maloney must've been spewing at Gallen and Fifita for their idiotic plays at the end of normal time and extra time.

Actually unless he's getting grumpier in his old age he never used to be big on ref bagging. He was asked why a couple of years ago and explained that during an SOO after Qld had lost two series and four games in a row and had been parked on it's own tryline for about half a dozen sets, he sent a message out to Wally simply saying "do something" expecting some spark of brilliance. Lewis quickly turned to Barry Gommersal, the ref, and said "need a farking hand here Barry". Next play the ball the spivs were penalized in the play the ball.

Anyway the only thing better than seeing the filth and *druggies eliminated is seeing it happen controversially.

Gutsy stuff from the Cows. It looked like the Slimeys used all their bullets v Storm the previous week. Very disappointing for their long-suffering fans to go out in straight sets.

It's hard to see past a Storm-Roosters GF.

Apparently* the Dogs are saying that the contract extension that was signed in April was "non-binding" so no payout. Maybe it had a performance clause in it.

League must be the only business in the world where a contract is "non-binding".

From NRL Daily...

"Des Hasler will meet with his lawyers and manager George Mimis today as his dispute with the Bulldogs threatens to turn ugly.

Hasler was sacked by Canterbury yesterday and a dispute is brewing over the payout of his contract given he signed a new deal in April.

Canterbury are yet to name a replacement but it's expected that either Dean Pay or Michael Maguire will take over.

How long will it take for the Bulldogs to right the ship following Hasler's sacking? "

Good luck with this one, Doggies. What a clusterfark.

Stomies 28-0 up against the Whine Wankos. 5 mins to go to keep them scoreless. A double to Billy. Huzzah.

Mrs L was very pleased with that result, she's a big fan of Billy Slater and Cameron Smith.

Droll. Did Whine congratulate the Storm, take any responsibility for the Wanko's lamentable performance
