Re: Australia v India, 3rd Test, Melbourne, 26-30 December, 2018
Apparently, the crowd booed Hollow Man when he came on to bowl yesterday. Good.
Seems that cbnlg wheeled Head out to say the booing was inappropriate and that he had done a good job for the team.
I hope the crowd continue to boo him when he bowls, drops catches and fails with the bat. If he possessed a scintilla of decency and insight that he is only selected because of nepotism then he would retire on the spot.

Three catches put down. We deserve to lose.
Re: Australia v India, 3rd Test, Melbourne, 26-30 December, 2018
Pretty piss weak effort in the field this arvo. WTF excuse could Siddle have for dropping that sitter?

Nasty session negotiated OK but the wicket is keeping down.

wtf was cbnlg thinking having an ageing unco fast bowler with bad eyes as 12th Man?
Still it is cbnlg and use of the word thinking in relation to him is an oxymoron.

Seem to remember some other Peter played last time and fielded OK (although his batting was less than marvellous)....another bad aspect of the Mush selection howler

to only sit through 4 days of boring cricket instead of 5? If this was a 4 day match, our bowlers would have really been cooked.
Sorry, to make it clear, i didn't mean 4 day games, that's the last thing we need. I meant other changes i have suggested before here.
Basically, preparing wickets that do something for the bowlers always, leg byes abolished, penalties for slow over rates in runs not pointless fines, 95 overs a day with 30 minute earlier starts as the norm.

Come on Aus, show some resolve and determination, these bowlers really aren't all that good outside India. We fried 'em when they came to the UK recently easily enough.

Perhaps the team losing the toss, finding itself in the field should get to choose which type of ball is used, e.g. duke or kookaburra?

Nice idea, but mostly they would choose the Duke. Maybe they could also select the ball for the team bowling second.

Re: Australia v India, 3rd Test, Melbourne, 26-30 December, 2018
I listened to a bit of the game yesterday. Seems our bowlers aside from Cummins did not bowl well and the fielding following Paine's miss on the first day was ordinary.
I think the Oz bowling attack is limited. Lyon is now an excellent bowler but he needs bounce from the pitch to pose real problems.
Of the quicks, only Cummins looks a world class bowler at the moment.
Starc has developed the habits of Johnson on his bad days and Bung Lee's general stupidity. Haze just lacks tricks and is an average bowler. Both need conditions in their favour to be effective.
cbnlg and Ima seem in lockstep on bowling Cummins first change and denying him use of the new ball.
Hopefully that will change.
Hollow Man once bowled in the high 130's. It seems the bulk of his overs were bowled in the mid 120s. He also possesses few tricks. There would be a hundred decent quicks in grade cricket in each State who could deliver better.
So, what to make of Oz's batting prospects today? They will be aiming to be batting at stumps but who is likely to hang around and make runs during the day.
E-Coli and the Bannies will be applying maximum pressure in the field and screaming like stuck pigs at every opportunity.
I think any prospect Oz has of making a game of this will come down to Harris, Uber and Head.
With the pressure on, the spawn of satan brothers will fail, tho the pitch is so flat even Hollow Man is a chance of equalling his average. Irrespective, I look forward to the crowd booing him to the wicket and again when he fails.
The curator needs to be fired with immediate effect. He produced two good pitches and two shockers. He wears a lot of responsibility for the pudding served up for this Test.

Australian fielding is terrible across the board. So many pathetic catching efforts in the BBL too.

I am still mystified why Siddle was made the 12th man.
Meanwhile I am listening to SEN. Whately is an excellent commentator, Hudson tho is too excitable for me.
Fleas after you get past the monotone is reasonable on special comments, other than when he is cheerleading for cbnlg and the Brothers Bane. I did laugh several times yesterday when he was begging for Hollow Man to be rewarded with a wicket.

Fink is not a Test Cricketer's arsehole. What a lazy fat qunt.
And now Harris has thrown his wicket away. 2-36, still 210 from avoiding the follow-on.
Fark I hate our top order.

They are not Warner or Smith.
Fink is not good enough to open for Victoria.
I am begging for a twin Marsh failure.... short term pain for long term gain.
