In this day and age with the even comp there are not many upsets unless Norf is on the end of one.

My Cats finally turn up to 2021 season in round 6. That result over the Eagles was totally unexpected.

no, they won't get 15 goals out of Rohan/Hawkins/Cameron in a final (and Lynch/Riewoldt only having 2 between them)

Tight ladder, currently. For a while today it appeared that Carlton might beat Footscray, but the Dogs ran out the fourth quarter much better. As it is, there are only two games separating 4th and 14th. Had Fred's Blues run out the game, the 2 game separation would have been between 2nd and 12th.

At the moment I'd only guarantee Melbourne a finals slot, and only North Melbourne and guaranteed to miss out. A couple more weeks of down time and North could be joined by the Pies and the Hawks but (IMO) it's too soon to write either off just yet.

Sydney sends the Pies to the cellar (and Buckley to retirement, surely).
