Kay Burley has come under fire for shouting down some electoral reform protesters she was supposed to be interviewing the other day too.
Perhaps all at Sky are getting a bit tetchy at the prospect of Pefect Dave not getting into Downing Street...
Re: The UK General Election Thread (II)
Just saw Adam Boulton talking about the interview, did he come off badly? Seemed a bit bitter...

Campbell did what he does best - just talked over Boulton. There's clearly "history" between them as they had a bit of a do last week as well.

Boulton's a twat anyway. Broke the rules of impartiality when he tried to question Clegg about a Telegraph smear right in the middle of the second debate.

He does seem to come from the Bill O'Reilly school of impartiality.Dello wrote:Boulton's a twat anyway. Broke the rules of impartiality when he tried to question Clegg about a Telegraph smear right in the middle of the second debate.
Cue Allan D claiming no bias from Fox News...

Labour is offering the Lib Dems a bill on AV followed by a referendum on Proportional Representation.
The Tories are offering a referendum on AV
Harriet Harman is offering to have Nick Clegg's babies.

Fixed.
And that's why the Libs have suddenly U-turned.
Re: The UK General Election Thread (II)
Hague's got it pretty much spot on. You can either have a stable government with an elected PM and a referendum on AV or you can have an unstable rainbow government that is seen to stitch up England, a second unelected PM in a row and force through undemocratic electoral reform.
I'm no Tory lover but that should be that. The Tories would have a hell of a lot of material to work with in opposition.

Re: The UK General Election Thread (II)
I think that Clegg will go with the Tories but is just flirting with Labour in order to strengthen his bargaining position. The Tories might start to shit it and offer more if they think there is a chance they won't be in power, though in reality I really cannot see Labour enticing the Lib Dems with anything.JKLever wrote:Hague's got it pretty much spot on. Cameron would be a legitimate PM in a minority government. Far more mandate than having your PM chosen by the Unite union. i get your point though.
