skully wrote:Well, that was enjoyable. Bat to Lunch tomoz, maybe 150-170 in front and have a go with attacking fields.
Fantastic knocks by Leonard, Pup and Paris.
And I see taips and Red haven't made use of the room I provided.
Well after your wanking off over cover drives it thought it would seen more fitting for you and her to get together,

These extended days and sessions tend to be hard work for the bowlers.
The funniest thing is to here all the pre-match talk about how green and bouncier and quick it's going to be only to see it turn into a somnolent strip.
Still if Australia can conjure an unlikely win he'll be hailed as a grouse curator.

I'm surprised taips didn't climb all over it. That's all he's been doing all day with Red posts. What a boring twat he's become.lardbucket wrote:Red wrote:skully wrote:Did I mention Kevin Mitchell needs a kick in the qunt?Red wrote:So day five begins and only thirteen wickets have fallen.

Even funnier when you consider who it was mouthing about SA not being able to handle the unique bounce and swing at the Gabba.

Actually Skulls I don't do the pedant thing, I leave it to the likes of you. Going to have a go at Lardy and Trev for doing the same? Anyway calm down I'm sure there is a nice TV programme coming on.

If it's a greentop under leaden skies the toss may decide the match. Otherwise it will be interesting to see how SA handles the unique conditions of the Gabba with the bounce and swing/seam etc.
Here you go.

Just trying to maintain the balance and perspective. There's a bit too much Clarke-induced sprog flying around here at the moment. It's like all the Aussie forummers have become Mark Nicholas.

Actually the one thing Clarke hasn't proved is whether or not he can success up the order. His performances at #4 were poor. He's done very well this year 1000 runs in a calendar year but most of the runs have come on the back of very big scores on roads. True he came in at 3 for 40 odd most times (familiar script) but it's still not the same as facing the new ball and bowlers at their freshest.
Punter, AB etc. put their balls on the line in the difficult spots in the batting order; time for him to take the initiative rather than expecting debutant or ageing teammates to do it.

WTF would he do that? Aren't we better off having No 5 average 100 while No 3 averages 20.

But if he bats as well at #3 Australia ends up one of two down instead of four after his mammoth stands! Seems odd that ageing players and debutants always get thrust up the order.
Almost need the mercy rule for the SA bowlers that Donald says is their greatest ever attack.

AB did not bat much at 3 ... he did not do well when he did
Like SRW, Border batted best at 5 and 6.

But he doesn't. That's the point.
Put it another way, Pup's ludicrous form at 5 is allowing the likes of Warner and Cowan and whoever else we want at 3 time to get their sh1t together in Tests.

Philander as predicted also struggling in Australian conditions where the ball often doesn't swing.
No hint of swing today.
Feels like we're watching the toothless Indian attack again.
SA far too one-dimensional but Tahir would have struggled as well.
Aussies right on top, SA lost their way yesterday with the bat.
You know, I kept thinking the others (like skully) constant attacks were a bit strange and unwarranted. Starting to understand it now.

You seem overly pre-occupied with me, bg. Clearly you haven't been paying attention. I rarely ever have a shot at Red, believing she's as much entitled to her opinion as everyone else. However, the other night she took issue with a remark I made about the arseclown head of the Aus Climate Commission, Tim Flannery, which I disagreed with and said so. I supplied quotes, as I always do, to back up my argument, whereas Red made generalised statements with no backup.baggygreen wrote:Red wrote:As I tipped yesterday Australia totally foolproof, don't know what JGK was worried about.

I think you'll find taipan is Red's biggest protagonist by far. He has an alarm that goes off when she posts, then spends all day and night arguing with her. It's boring as batshit. I'm not the first to tell them to get a room, as it shits everyone.

Ah, more from the JC of the forum.
Coming from the person who has singlehandedly chased more posters than anyone else with his boring crap.
