Have a look back at your own whinging in the last 2 pages. Bwahahahahahahaha. Pinkos need an irony transplant because they clearly don't know the meaning.
Tell you what then - I won't mention or implictly refer to Howard's abysmal performance as Treasurer ever again and you don't get to mention etc "the recession we had to have".
First one to fail does a naked cyber run through the forum.
You'll have no farkin chance.

Meh, I can tolerate qmy's Banjoesque no-teethed roob ramblings (mainly because he bursts into tears at the first anti-pinko jibe, which highly amuses me ) and Mick's nightly sooks, but horrie's ad nauseum repetitive diarrhoea just clogs up the place with his smelly and decaying brain dandruff.

Nice putdown by Krudd as he deals with one of the most obnoxious interviewers on the most obnoxious programme on the most obnoxious station in GB as the latter pushes the agenda of keeping Gaddafi and getting rid of the Royals (sound needed):

That's because you don't listen to him every morning - he's an aggravating little s---t who used to be the Baghdad Broadcasting Company's Seppo correspondent and was then recalled to partner John Humphries on R4's "Socialism Today" morning programme which is bit like listening to Radio Moscow in the Brezhnev era although slightly less entertaining.
However I suppose you consider all Poms to be aggravating s--ts so on that basis I suppose Webb does rate as "fairly average" in your view nevertheless I thought Krudd was masterfully dismissive despite being constantly interrupted by Webb's insistence on putting words in his mouth and wanting to interpret his views on both the Middle East and the monarchy.

Your hatred of the BBC is truly amazing. BBC Radio 4 the home of socialism, do the ladies who listen to Women's Hour know that? You'll be calling the jam and cake making members of the WI followers of Mao Zadong next. You are the most amusing person on here. Don't stop giving, Allan.

Al's parents didn't go without bananas for six years so that the Women's Hour could indoctrinate us with their socialist propaganda. He's been to the studios and knows they're all really red under the bed, sandal-wearing, Castro worshipping types.
Re: The Royal Wedding
Ponts, me ol' cobber, I'm happy not to talk about politics at all, but it is truly the one thing that is guaranteed to fire us all up. With horrie in the mix, we'll never have a situation where politics is not brought up on a daily basis.Paul Keating wrote:hey skully

Back in the old days of ABC as a very green forummer, I used to get uncomfortable when we had interstate sledging going on, and made several suggestions that we "all just get along". That was an abysmal failure, so I just joined in the fun. Politics is no different.

Not really.
Some of us don't give a flying fark about Aussie politics.
But then again, that could be just me.

hmmn...I see I was mentioned in earlier despatches...I have no truck with either the ALP or the Libs (let alone abhorrent Greens)...I tend to be critical of both...but in the interests of peace tho I expect it is temporary I won't comment on ljh, bronnie, NSW ALP, costello, the mad monk, juliar for awhile

You don't see a problem with a foreigner dismissing our government? You can't see a time when that foreigner might have a conflict of interest?
That is utter bulltwang Mick.
A foreigner did not dismiss the Australian government. The Queen has no power to dismiss an Australian government. The Governor-General is the only person who can do that.
The Statute of Westminster ensures that the Governor-General is appointed and dismissed on the advice of the Australian Prime Minister. The Queen has the right to advise, warn and counsel on this decision, but she must ultimately accept the Prime Minister's advice.
My statement was delivered with my tongue planted firmly in my cheek & in that same spirit the following comes from our constitution;
"2.
A Governor-General appointed by the Queen shall be Her Majesty's representative in the Commonwealth, and shall have and may exercise in the Commonwealth during the Queen's pleasure, but subject to this Constitution, such powers and functions of the Queen as Her Majesty may be pleased to assign to him.................
61.
The executive power of the Commonwealth is vested in the Queen and is exercisable by the Governor-General as the Queen's representative, and extends to the execution and maintenance of this Constitution, and of the laws of the Commonwealth."
The Queen's representative - acting for and on behalf of the Queen of Australia, acting for and on behalf of a foreigner.
As a by the way, Clyde Cameron was of the belief that the US administration blugeoned Kerr after Cairns, Cameron (& maybe others) slated Nixon over the bombing of Hanoi & civilian deaths. Cameron also believed the septics to perceive a strong risk of nationalisation of the Australian subsidiaries of US companies.
