Which gives us a glimpse of the cringeworthy dross they were planning to dish up. I've never been a fan of the Chaser. Purile schoolboy humour at its worse.

Aye. Because just a few years later the Fraser-Howard government achieved the triple crown of double digit unemployment rates, double digit inflation and double digit interest rates.

I don't mind admitting I'll by surfing between the footy & the Wedding. I don't mind a bit of pageantry & spectacle. Its not as though it happens every day. I was in London when Andy married Fergy & watched as they went past my Hotel so i can visualize what it will be like.
Re: The Royal Wedding
You are farkin kidding, aren't you? All you pinkos ever do is whinge about LJH, when you never had it so good while he was in power. Dear God in Heaven, what a bunch of pink coloured glasses wearing frauds you all are.JGK wrote:skully wrote:Pinkos still sooking.

Have a look back at your own whinging in the last 2 pages. Bwahahahahahahaha. Pinkos need an irony transplant because they clearly don't know the meaning.

Yep, the pageantry is the main thing. And lets face it, no one does it like the poms.

Re: The Royal Wedding
After some enquiry and despite offers of all sorts of dinners out it seems my wife and my sister in law will in fact be watching it. 'For the fashion', or something.
This gives my brother and me the perfect excuse to drink as much as we please whilst watching the passing 'fashion' on the Esplanade.

Tell you what then - I won't mention or implictly refer to Howard's abysmal performance as Treasurer ever again and you don't get to mention etc "the recession we had to have".
