Barlett stiff not to have 2 in his 1st over. His last ball hooped into the Nazi's pads for a big appeal. Ump said no and Smudge didn't review. DRS said hitting top of leg.

Regarding that chap in the Sydney crowd who completely missed the ball he was trying to catch & wore it in the face - If he plays cricket, let's just hope his club captain can find somewhere he can hide in the field.

Apparently* MrK was just behind and to the left of this clown as he took it in the right eyebrow. Very poor catching effort.
The guy behind him in W's photo looks like a cross between Daniel Ricciardo and Rory McIlroy.

And a great effort by Sean Abbott (with bat and ball) lead Aus to another comfortable victory v Ganjas.

Re: Current International One Day Cricket
in the U19 WC match between Zimbab and England, there was out obstructing the field, when a batter picked up the ball and the zimbab keeper appealed. didnt see it but quite unusual i believe. But why do batters pick up the ball? i never did, let the fielders do their own fielding i say.

Re: Current International One Day Cricket
The batsman defended it and it bobbled around his feet then stopped on the crease. He bent down, picked it up and lobbed it gently it to the keeper. Zim keeper and bowler appealed, and after consultation between the umps, he was given.
Stoopid play, stoopid appeal, stoopid umpires. On the replay I saw, there was no way he was obstructing the field. The ball wasn't rolling towards his stumps, it was stationary on the crease.

Under the Laws of Cricket it is OUT ...
Common sense says the action caused no harm ...but common sense isnt a Law
'If you want to field the ball... go stand in the covers'
Dont pick the ball up ...you cant be given out ....Simple ....Ball belongs to the fielding team

They should certainly stop playing T20 franchises and develop some technique.

Speaking of technique, Fraser-McGurk is right out of the NoShow mould, except he needs to develop his ramps and reverses.

NoShow blasts 120* off 57 balls. He and David added 95 in 39 balls to get Aus to a record score at the Adelaide Oval of 4-241.

Re: Current International One Day Cricket
As I've said before, he's a thing of absolute beauty when he plays that 1 in 10 innings of international class, as he did tonight. I relished every ball.
If only he could reign in that "early in his innings" impetuosity (you know, when he reverse sweeps on ball one and gets caught at point), what a non-enigmatic genius he'd be.
I guess we'll just have to settle for the perpetual "enigmatic genius".
I'm sure he'll go down as an absolute legend of the short form of the game, but I lament his lost "immortal" reputation.
